Why music for wellness?
• Music is a non-invasive & motivating stimulus. • Many people already have a strong, preexisting relationship with music. • More often than not, we associate music to mood. The simple act of listening to music, if done with intention, can have a huge impact on one's mindset and well-being. The act of making music can have an even larger impact. • When we express ourselves musically either alone, or with another person, a sense of belonging is established as well as opportunities for self expression and a release of endorphins. |
