Music therapy in the classroom setting is an engaging way for students to work on building peer relationships, develop non-music skills in a fun, welcoming environment, and provide students with an opportunity to participate in music making experiences at their ability levels.
IsoRhythms Music Therapy is currently serving 24 SPED classrooms in Pacific Grove Unified School District and Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.
We work with a wide range of diagnoses in the classroom setting including but not limited to: autism, Down syndrome, dyslexia, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, emotional disturbance, fetal alcohol syndrome, multiple disabilities, hard of hearing, and severe special needs.
